She topped the most searched list. Kim Kardashian topped the list of ‘Most Searched Celebrities’ for February according to Celebopedia. The news of her sextape with Ray J almost certainly fueled her jump from #3 to #1.
I wonder if her friend Paris Hilton is happy about that.

Well Miss Kim Kardashian wasn’t just bumping her gums about filing a lawsuit to prevent the release of her private sex tape.
The suit, against Vivid who are planning to distribute the sex tape, which was filmed 3 years ago with ex-boyfriend Ray J, was filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Kim Kardashian is apparently asking for damages, attorney fees and all of the profits from the sale of the tape. She claims it is being distributed without her permission or consent.
The distributor is reported to be remaining confident of their legal position.
Hot on the heel of the Vivid press release, announcing the acquirement of a sex tape featuring Kim Kardashian and Ray J, Kim is reportedly taking legal action to prevent the release of the video.
She again confirmed that the tape does exist but says she had nothing to do with it being made public.
Yesterdays announcement by Vivid certainly goes a long way to confirming the existence of the Kim Kardashian sex tape, as do these preview pics from the tape.
It’s due to launch at the end of the month on DVD and online, available from KimKSuperstar. The online version will have extra scenes not on the DVD.

LOS ANGELES – (02/06/07) — Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film studio, says it has paid $1-million to acquire rights to a video tape featuring the sexual exploits of raven-haired Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian and her then boyfriend, hip hop star Ray J.
The company said the DVD titled “Kim Kardashian Superstar“ will be in stores February 28, 2007. It will also be available online on the same day at www.vivid.com or www.kimksuperstar.com and will include additional footage not on the DVD.
Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said the company obtained the video from a third party but did not identify the person or entity. “We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say,” says Mr. Hirsch.
“I’ve seen the video and it’s really great,” says Mr. Hirsch. “It has over 30-minutes of explicit sex that fans of erotica will find very appealing featuring two young and glamorous high profile celebrities. Apparently, the video was shot by Ray J about three years ago when he and Kim were in a relationship. The production is crystal clear and viewers will definitely get their money’s worth. If either Kim or Ray J would like to discuss the video with us we would be happy to do so,” he added.
